We drove into a Persimmon estate took one look and drove back out. As you say so cramped and packed in. Very over looked. The road was so narrow only wide enough for 1 car!!!!
We are going for David Wilson Homes, there are good and bad reviews for all developers but when researching my opinion is Persimmon are one of the worst.
As mentioned before, Instagram is really helpful and I've done a lot of "research" on you tube 🤣
Good luck, all the best.0 -
You've avoided saying the name of the town but you've made it very easy to find out from the information provided! Just in case you weren't aware...My preferred style is "The Goodridge". All the others just look like a box to me. Although to be fair, the goodridge is still just a box with a bit stuck on the front.Good luck with your decision!0

I’d steer clear of Persimmon. I rented a new flat some years back, built by them. It had been the show flat just before I moved in, so I’m not sure if they had knocked it together in a hurry so people could start coming to view it but even so.. if I’d have been the owner, I would not have been pleased. I was on the ground floor next to the ‘back’ door, which was the door everybody used because it was by the car park. There was only actually six flats in the block but it was a matter of weeks before the slow close hinge broke and as we all worked different hours, it was banging at all times of the day and night. Lots of other annoying things wrong with the flat itself too. I’m going back around 12 years here however over the years I’ve consistently heard poor things about Persimmon.

I would be wary of Linden and Persimmon. From family who've bought their NBs I've heard nothing but complaints about really poor quality work and atrocious after sales treatment.0

Think very carefully about buying any property if it is a leasehold, and also watch out for fleecehold estate service charges - Some of these charges may not be acceptable to some mortgage providers and/or might put prospective buyers off in the future.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
