Ok so I am double jabbed last jab was 10th May 2021

last Friday I went out for meal with 2 friends (Pizza Express) (Friend checked in) then off to pub/bar (Big Venue) (I checked in)

Today the covid 19 app Notification said this

You recently visited a venue on the same day as others who have since tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

Other date:
Venue of risk Last Visited 2 July 2021
I have no symptoms & feel 100% fine

Only feel stressed at keep dying on call of duty lol

As far as I am aware i don't need to Isolate as could of been anyone at that bar.

am I correct?

Yeah I always check in at venues i go to or the people i am with check in,

It's says this on the Gov Website Will the NHS COVID-19 app alert me if I've been to a venue where there have been cases of coronavirus? · COVID-19 app support (covid19.nhs.uk) and says I don't need to isolate

    The venue is still open,

You are correct, but for the wrong reason. You don't need to isolate as the app notification is advice unlike being contacted by test & trace which is mandatory.

Whether you should follow that advice & help limit the spread of covid is thus down to your conscience and important stuff like will you get paid enough to live on while self-isolating

Yeah mate I don't get sick pay...

I always wash my hands wear mask in shops and keep a good distance from non family members/friends etc

Venue is still open and trading

If I got Symptoms I would 100% Isolate

Pretty sure venue notifications like that are just advice - e.g. watch out for symptoms, consider getting an LFT etc.

if the app wanted you to isolate, it’d say it and give you a count down of days till you can be free again.

Yeah Agreed sounds like someone who attended that venue at some point on Friday tested positive for Covid 19 so they had to notify all other people who went there on Friday to be extra careful and follow government advice if they have Symptoms etc

Do you have a symptom free testing centre close by that you could visit ?

Failing that - although not 100% accurate you could get a LFT test sent to you.

Its better than nothing and might help to reassure you
