118 account disappeared

I have come into some money and want to make a payment to my card. Except I can't. 118 app kicked me saying fingerprint has expired and now they don't recognize my password and trying to reset won't send me the relevant email. Seems very fishy like I've been hacked but all I get from them is "you have been passed to the relevant team please watch your email" anyone else had this? Very bad way of dealing with customers
