Post-Pandemic Work Arrangements - What is reasonable to request?

Dear all,
Looking for some general advice, insights, and suggestions!
During the pandemic, my employer closed the office. The supermajority of my colleagues are client-facing, so will likely work from client sites, which was the normal MO pre-pandemic, however, my role within the company has changed to an "internal" role, so I won't be visiting client sites any longer. My partner and I own a small flat in London, which is not really suitable for two of us to be working from home in - furthermore, I am looking forward to getting out of the flat mid-week and into central locations to be around other people.
I have recently taken out a WeWork membership that allows me to use their co-working spaces for c.£199/month (excl. VAT).
My question is what, if anything, can I reasonably do to offset this cost, e.g. with income tax or VAT offsets? My employer is unlikely to want to fund the membership fully, but I want to have a proposal that has a lower cost impact for them. I am a higher rate of tax payer, and will be very close to the threshold where I lose the personal allowance altogether, once I factor salary and bonus, so anything to offset tax is welcome. We are saving hard for a house - between us nearly £4k per month going into cash savings, so our actual disposable income is lower than it would otherwise be.
Thanks in advance for your time and energy,
Paul
