Amazon non delivery

Ordered from Amazon for next day delivery, kept an eye on tracking all day then went on tracking and it showed delivered. I looked outside, my house is up a driveway and no van had come up it. 

I do not have neighbours .I immediately contacted Amazon to be told it was an error and delivery would be in next 48 hours.

Needless to say no item came and next conversation with Amazon was delivered Friday. Contacted them today as requested and still no response from them ?? Why do they not follow up with delivery drivers , so at moment no delivery no refund.

My grandson ordered an expensive coffee machine from Amazon and received a code to give to the driver. This driver rang the bell continuously and my daughter was annoyed and gave him the code receiving 2 small parcels from him. When her son came home he asked where his coffee machine was but he had only got the 2 small parcels.
My daughter was amazed that no photo of the delivery was taken as on every other occasion. AMAZON ARE ADAMANT DELIVERY WAS MADE AND ARE DEMANDING PAYMENT IN NEXT 14 DAYS.
He went to Currys and got the same machine at the same price, a lesson for us all there. I for one will boycott Amazon from here in and help to save our High Streets.

Curry’s will price match Amazon anyway (subject to some conditions) and so I usually go and pick stuff up from curry’s than buy on Amazon now. Especially expensive stuff as I’m loath to get stuff like that delivered now, in case it does go missing.
