Most of my document and all old photos are scanned and kept on three different devices which I update when technology improves. I haven't got the space for all the paperwork I should' keep. Bank statements and utility bills are all online anyway. It's true about making sure that any media used to save stuff on is reviewed and changed, although there will always be IT experts who can access old disks etc. The important aspect is keeping passwords both secure when alive and accessible to the executor after death.Still being deep in the midst of acres of DM's papers, a swimming certificate from 1934 onward, my resolve to remain as paper-free as possible is strengthened. The stockman's wife left me some of her hens eggs, I immediately steamed two for my breakfast. The yolks are deep yellow and very tasty. I call them chicken-sh*t eggs as they are fresh from the nest. And yes, I make sure they're clean beforehand.I've done some online shopping ☺️ already. Just a couple of new toilet brushes and a half price jumper. I'll collect them when back in Glasgow tomorrow.10

Morning all
We had a bit of a day yesterday, dd started with a cold in the evening and started to feel worse and worse she was crying in pain at one point, we tested her for covid and it was positive ! She said she has never felt so bad so she is now confined to her room and we are in isolation for 10 days.
I have had to let the people I lunched with yesterday know and also i will inform the cafe where we ate, I will need to try and get an online shop delivered as we cant go out. Mum is also confined to home as we saw her on Sunday. its a nightmare trying to sort everything out and look after dd from a distance.
Im not sure what to do about walking the dogs too, there is no way then can go 10 days without a walk, I will google and try and find an answer.
Take care everyone the virus is still very much here xxx11 -
RRuby, oh dear I'm sorry to hear about DD, I hope she feels better soon.Csarina & Gers, yes I do get where you're coming from re paperwork etc. My passwords get saved automatically on a thingy on the laptop, & I have a little book too, probably shouldn't I know, but there are so many passwords these days & I'm not good at remembering them all! I think DSons would be ok accessing important stuff if need be, but perhaps I need to tidy them up a bit! x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Redruby - hope your dd feels better soon. I found homemade soup helped a little, with paracetamol and lots of fluid.10

Ruby, had your DD been vaccinated? I hope she feels better soon and that you and yours don't get it too.10

RedRuby - that’s rubbish news. I too hope that she soon feels better. 🤗9

Sorry to hear your DD has the dreaded virus, hope she feels better soon and you don't catch it.
Apparently if you are isolating due to someone in the house having Covid you can walk your dogs as long as you don't come into contact with anyone or let anyone touch the dogs. Best to check though, I may not be correct.9 -
We will have wraps tonight for dinner - containing salad and fish strips from Ald.
My yarn order hasn't arrived yet - not that I am desperate for it - looks around her craft room!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
