    I mean you can "claim" it.

    That's not quite the same thing as "you would be awarded it if you took it to court". 

    When issuing court proceedings, you want to ask for as much as you can with a straight face. Don't ask, don't get. Do you really want to be issuing small claims proceedings for a few weeks interest though. Up to you I suppose.

    Thanks for that. I would like a refund before the car is picked up. I have purchased 3 cars from this dealer before so it should be ok to let them have the car first but trust has really broken down over some of these faults. Thanks again :)
