@Fruitcake thanks for the reply, as for the landowner, I've had a look into this and the building which the car park is behind has about 4 separate units, 2 of which are takeaways and 2 of which are empty and up for rent, but I couldn't find the name of the owner of the building online anywhere. Also, because its not a supermarket or one shop, I doubt the landowner will be bothered about customer loyalty or helping me out, even if I could track them down.
