Car prices are significantly higher that they were in January, bought a Kamiq registered in December and now the price is £2k more for similar, I think at one point a couple of months ago it could have been £3k more.

New cars are in short supply at the moment.

By car prices you mean the price for that particular new car your bought and got a good deal from that Main Dealer.

How can a car advertised on auto trader marked as being a great price or a low price then have a suggested selling price of 1000 less if I was going to sell it. All the cars I was looking at were around the £6000-£8000 range. I thought auto-trader were a reputable company but something stinks here.  Can anyone explain this or have any other tips on how to value a second hand car.
Its just the data from other adverts of similar vehicles against online data, next you will be typing in the reg number on we buy any car and complaining that how can WBAC only give me £5000 when there are adverts for the same car priced at £7000.

Look at 20 similar cars of similar condition your thinking about, you have to tick the exclude Cat S/C/D/N though, and see what the prices are and make your own mind up if one is worth it over another.

Yes but the deal was very similar to other dealers around the country so I picked the one closest to me.  It was a present for the missus.
