No, not for DWP.

If there was, no one would spend hours trying to call DWP or get frustrated.
Currently submitted two Subject Access Request/s which the first was only meant to have 1 month's turnaround.
The first request wasn't even responded to in given nearly double that time. No way would I want to call the DWP call centre about it, that would be frustration upon frustration.
No doubt someone will blast me, but if DWP cannot complete SAR's in the month they give, they should review the timelines they give. Mind it took 5 months getting a receipt for final payment made so I really shouldn't have any expectations. Though I'm sure it would be a different if it was them chasing fraud or money owed to them.....
They seriously wouldn't be able to operate live chat.0 -
This isn't a timeline set by DWP, it's the law! (All the more reason they needed to buck up responding to your SARs, serious grounds for complaint there.)Deleted User said:If there was, no one would spend hours trying to call DWP or get frustrated.

Not an online chat, but there is a facility to contact via an account if you receive certain benefits.Deleted_User said:Is there such a thing as DWP online chat?

To my knowledge that would be Universal Credit and OP doesn't claim that.

And even using the journal, you could wait a week or more for an answer.

Yes, i've heard that happens a lot. Although i have to give credit where it's due and say since i claimed UC on behalf of my daughter (i'm her appointee) in January when i've put messages for her work coach i've always had a reply within the hour.

Yes, you will get a quicker response from a work coach, but not from a case manager, owing to how they work.
