I thought it would not be just me! 
I have now filled in the previous version of that form which WaywardDriver has kindly sent me. I cannot go for manual completion as I have to send all PDFs back to solicitor.

Now one year after the previous posts and yet the problem still remains. I have the same issue with these forms.

Probably best to start a new thread if you have a specific question to ask. Saves everyone having to trawl all the older posts to get to yours.

Try completing the forms using a different browser, if possible.

Solved for Mac: Edit in Chrome browser

I was also impacted by this problem. From Safari on MacMini I was able to enter £2,000,000 in field 8 and a lower figure in field 7, but unable to enter 100% in field 13. All fields were white. I tried saving the PDF and editing from Preview,app, bur same problem. I opened in Adobe Acrobat and saw that fields 7 and 8 were blue indicating editable but field 13 was not blue indicating non-editable, and I was unable to enter 100% in field 13. I opened in Google Chrome and the fields were in the same blue/white colour and field 13 was automatically filled in once fields 7 & 8 were filled in !

Retrospectively, the clue is in the guidance notes below which hint that the file must not be saved then edited, but edited directly from a browser and there must be browser compatibility issues for Safari on Mac and maybe other platforms too...

Before you start filling in the form

Make sure your web browser is up to date.

You’ll need to fill in the form fully before you can print it. You cannot save a partly completed form so make sure have all the information you need before you start to fill it in.
