Esa payment dates help

If my friend is paid her ESA on the 7th of July, can anyone tell me what period that fortnightly payment would be for please.
I understand its paid in arrears but is this usually a payment of 2 weeks arrears paid 1 week later?
I think this could be payment for 16th to 22nd June and 23rd June to 29th - anyone have any idea if this is correct.
Thank you in advance to anyone who knows and can reply.

It's paid fortnightly in arrears and covers a period up to the date of payment. If the payday is the Wed 7th it means the last two digits of the NI number are 40-59 and the payment wil be for Thursday 24 June to Wed 7 July.1

Every day's a school day on here! I'm guessing I get paid on a Monday because the final two digits of my NINo are within the 00-19 range?Robbie64 said:It's paid fortnightly in arrears and covers a period up to the date of payment. If the payday is the Wed 7th it means the last two digits of the NI number are 40-59 and the payment wil be for Thursday 24 June to Wed 7 July.1 -
That is brilliant thank you for your help, very much appreciated. That's good news for her that it's paid for the previous 2 weeks I wasn't sure if there was a delay. I will let her know thank you.
