Comments

Just to point out that the OP asked for advice on 4/7/2021 and the niece was getting married in August 2021.
The OP had decided what he was going to do on 2/8/2021.

She had the most wonderful time. And so did the second niece at her wedding in January. Same value of gift to both and well received. Both have just in the past few weeks given birth to their lovely daughters, so smiles and happiness all round1 -

Thank you.What is Necroposting? (computerhope.com)Necroposting
Updated: 12/29/2017 by Computer HopeAny post or comment made on a forum thread that is very old, e.g., a thread with the last comment being several months old. This type of posting is often done by those who may have stumbled across a thread using search, without realizing no one is actively talking in the thread. Necroposting is looked down upon among the forum community because it is bad forum etiquette to reply to a discussion that has already ended.
You often find it by a newbie who is post building to be able to advertise.
And that's exactly what this user has done.
I've posted the user's profile on the spam thread on Site Feedback and posts/threads don't usually last long.
I dislike this practice as it can waste people's time by giving advice on a now-resolved situation (like this one).
