Replacing integrated fridge with dishwasher

I am going to get a fridge freezer so my integrated fridge (left) won’t be required any more. I was thinking of moving the middle cupboard to where the fridge is and installing an integrated dishwasher. The sink trap is in the right hand cupboard
How easy would this be and what would be the approximate cost?

How easy - depend on how the units are assembled, connected together and, possibly on the legs design.AFAIK, an integrated dishwasher doesn't need any cupboard and needs a big front door/panel. Is it really a drawer above the fridge or just an imitation? If the latter, than, possibly, this combination will work for a dishwasher too.The plinth, if it's easy to remove and fix back will need a cutout under the dishwasher.1

Thanks. It’s an imitation drawer. The units are on legs. I’m not bothered if the plinth gets damaged and I’ll buy a cheap dishwasher door as I’m planning to replace the kitchen in 6-9 months.

Put the dishwasher where the fridge is for now to save cost / faffing with cupboards? If necessary buy a longer hose for the cold water feed and an extension for the waste outlet. Adapt the fridge door to the dishwasher for now - it will have a couple of holes where the handle was but it's only for a few months.GlasgowExpat2 said:Thanks. It’s an imitation drawer. I can't give costs for a handyman, but I DIYed this job when moving into my new home. Took out an integrated fridge and replaced with a dishwasher - albeit freestanding (I picked a used one up on eBay for £40 - we'll buy new when we fit a new kitchen). There was already a socket in place for the fridge, and the trap under the sink luckily had a spare appliance connection. All I had to do was fit a self-cutting feed tap (only a few £ from toolstation), which simply screwed to the copper cold supply to the sink. Job probably took me a couple of hours.
Moving the cabinet should be dooable, dropping it from under the worktop before moving across - consider however where is the socket for the fridge now? It might be wired into the cabinet you want to move.0
