Economy 7 Smart Meter issue

I'll try to make this as short as possible. Been having issues after switching from Shell Energy to EON (came out cheapest on comparison).

I raised a dispute in March due to inaccurate initial meter readings. Kept ringing to get "we're still working on it". But last week finally got told that they'd had no reply from Shell when questioning the initial readings so EON asked me to ring them.

I did, and was asked to supply two meter readings over a week apart and something they call a timed space test which involves readings over 2 hours apart in the same day.

Now the trouble I'm having is that both readings are moving during the day so Shell were unable to differentiate which was day/night.

But upon a Google or two I don't seem to have two rates on the liberty 100 smart meter. I have been unknowingly giving EON the IMP R01 value and the IMP KWH which now I know is the cumulative figure.

If anyone knows how I can find the IMP R02 or even if I actually have an economy 7 meter, which I've been told I do, before I go back and ring EON and shell energy on Monday. Thanks in advance.

    This should do it:

Yeah I've seen that that's what should show up but when I press the '6' it just cycles through and there's no IMP R02 which I find odd

Just to be clear, you press the 6 key four times then you wait, no more pressing of the key and the readings should cycle without touching the key pad.
With Shell, were they taking the readings directly from the meter? ... and if so were they showing usage in both day and night ?

Just went down to check again and 4 presses of the 6 takes it to IMP R01. It then goes through cost now, using now ect.

So when I moved in, in November I immediately switched from the previous owners supplier of Shell to EON, so I never actually had any dealings with Shell myself.

What with it being a smart meter I'd assume that they should have been but from the looks of it they hadn't been and the previous owner had been supplying the same two figures I have, which I now realize is incorrect.

Sounds to me like your meter is in single rate mode..
Does the house have anything that would suggest it was on E7, like night storage heaters for example?

Nope nothing like that, which I probably should have picked up on this sooner.

But I had been told by the previous owner of the E7 rates and both energy companies had requested two rates.

I guess the only thing left to do is confirm that the R01 reading is also going up during what should be the night period if it was in 2 rate mode...
You could also compare the R01 and total kWh readings between a couple of days and see if the difference remains constant..

Are the IMP R01 and IMP KWH values identical? If not there must be a R02 somewhere, surely? Otherwise how can there be a diifference?

So the IMP R01 is currently about 0008000 and the IMP KWH is about 0012000 so there's around a 0004000 difference, that like you say must be the R02, but I can't seem to find it on the meter.

Interesting just checked a couple of photos from the tests Shell had asked me to do. First readings from the 28th June show 11.4kwh difference between the R01 and Total KWH. Second readings from 30th show the exact same difference of 11.4kwh.
