Thanks our electric is through the roof as it is, I’m not digging the floor up so that leaves ch connected plinth heaters or fitting modern looking rads to side of kitchen units which is something I’ve never seen and may look odd!Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'1

Any space for vertical rads?(Or wet UFH?)
The problem with open plan is that you lose space for radiators!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I can keep radiators and electric UFH both together. I assume this might be more efficient.0

Thanks again exactly my problem I can can have a vertical rad on a tower unit and a smaller rad by back door on base unit, I’ve done the prep work for wet UFH and didn’t enjoy that at all!Doozergirl said:Any space for vertical rads?(Or wet UFH?)

Sorry Rosa I’m terrible at explaining myself, that was for someone else I happened to be there and volunteered!
It’s just that when I get planning for my workshop I’ll have so much going here just don’t want another job to do, I would have to bring in labour to help and I don’t know if our budget can stretch to that.
