In spite of the settings on my computer being set so they should deny access to !!!!!! sites to my kids with their limited accounts, they are still accessing them. Is there something (free) that I can apply or am I missing something on the existing settings?

Nothing is fool proof at my high school we can still access !!!!!! through still unfound websites or through google image search you cant do anything about that.
Are they accessing !!!!!! on purpose you can keep the parental guard but you can also check the history and tell you kids that you know all the website that they visit.
Their is also normally a powerfu one included with your firewall and when you download updates it download the new parental guard list.

If you're using MS Internet Explorer as your browser, IE-SPYAD offers an adult site blocking facility for free.

yep that should do it, i think you can also put the websites into internet explorer restricted sites, i also think xp firewall can be changed to stop 'adult content' sitessmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Remember that any of these programs are only as good as the last update you have - regular updating is a must for it to be even half effective. If a site isn't 'registered' or 'detected' as being adult, then it will slip through the net.
Some of the 'corporate' blocking programs contain subscriptions to white and blacklists, but even these programs at a hefty price cannot be 100% effective, though they do try - and some come close.
I am not aware of any other freebie programs that come close though.

Big stick and sore knuckles doesn't work then?

They quickly stopped that kind of Internet abuse at work.
I don't know where the young lady works these days.
Cruel but effective. Such a shame............0
