Work From Home / COVID Tax Relief - Question for Anyone Who's Recently Applied

Having recently read into this I thought it probably was something I should be applying for and followed Martin's guide: https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2020/04/martin-lewis--working-from-home-due-to-coronavirus--claim-p6-wk-/?_ga=2.191412258.98729700.1625137204-1613484534.1623138238
So my employer requested that we all start to work from home on the 16/3/20 so this was the date I entered on the HMRC microsite. It then suggested that I would be entitled for tax relief on my expenses for 3 weeks worked of the 19/20 tax year worked, the whole of the 20/21 tax year and the whole of the 21/22 tax year that we're now in.
I got an email this morning to say my tax code had been updated but upon looking at my new tax code on my personal tax account it only seems to have been applied for this 21/22 tax year, my tax code has been increased by only £312 (52 x £6), but nothing to account for the previous year's tax relief that I claimed for. Is this likely to be applied later or have they not done it correctly?
Thanks.

Neither. You will get a calculation covering the period prior to 6 April 2021.
Sometime this summer.

Nothing is ever straightforward or obvious where HMRC are concerned
