How to buy crypto? My bank does not allow it

I'm with Halifax and top up my Crypto.com Visa card via my bank card with no issues (no fee but £20 minimum top up). I sometimes bank transfer into their fiat wallet - again no issues and no fees.
I would recommend using Crypto.com - either the app or their exchange (both separate apps) and if you plan on holding your cryptocurrency for some time you can 'stake and earn' (interest varies depending on flexible, 1 or 3 month staking terms).
The card is great too, I currently earn 10%APR on my CRO stake for that and 3% cashback on most spends (exclusion list, mostly financial products, but literally everything else) get my Netflix and Spotify rebated, free lounge passes and other perks.
Also another note - if an exchange is 'no fee' then we obviously know they make this up in the spread - if you plan on buying a large amount of crypto - do it in smaller transactions and the spread actually works out a lot better.0 -
I've never liked CDC but I'm not entirely sure why!
3% cashback is very tasty, assuming you've got a decent bag of CRO in order to get that level? I've already got Tap, Monolith and a few others, I'd assume you can hold GBP/EUR on the card easy enough? Might have a look.
For me the best place to buy and stake is Swissborg, no card yet tho.0
