Data breach Linkedin

Hi, not sure which category this fits in to - I suffered a data breach from LinkedIn in 2016 and my passwords were compromised - these have been found on the dark web on numerous occasions!
Does anyone know how to claim compensation for a data breach?

Quantify your losses first.

What losses have you suffered? And are you still within time to claim anything anyway, given this was advertised over 5 years ago (and related to data stolen back in 2012)?0

If you have suffered quantifiable losses directly from the data breach then you may be able to claim. Note that if those losses come from you having re-used across multiple sites then that is down to poor password management.minks123 said:Hi, not sure which category this fits in to - I suffered a data breach from LinkedIn in 2016 and my passwords were compromised - these have been found on the dark web on numerous occasions!Does anyone know how to claim compensation for a data breach?
You are not entitled to compensation just because the data was breached.0
