Is Trading GM safe? I decided to click on the advertising link for Amazon shares. Filled in some information about my self then had a phone call.
The fact that they rang me made me cautious so after awhile I ended the call. Has anyone else had any dealings with them?

Which GM do you mean? General Motors shares?
Give more information about site you linked to.
You should not click on advertising links when you want to buy shares. That is a way that scammers hook their victims.
As a first filter to check out websites you could use these websites.

Checkout websites before you fill out information about yourself not after.
I would be very careful.

Was this the trading platform you are thinking about? It has a low trust score.

No company promoting individual shares on social media is safe. At worst they are scams. At best they are bookies looking to relieve you of your money legally. You are now on a suckers' list and should change your phone number and any other contact details as you will be getting more calls like this.2

I've seen adverts from a company implying that you can create a second income investing in Amazon shares, starting at £250, with a photo of someone holding a wad of cash.
Is that the same one?
I hold a significant number of Amazon shares, so I'm reasonably bullish on their long term prospects.
But to suggest you can create any meaningful second income from £250 worth (about 0.1 share now) is absurd.
I would never trust any company feeding such bull....t
Go back in time a decade or two ...... different story, you'd do very well now from £250 of Amzn shares back then.
“Like a bunch of cod fishermen after all the cod’s been overfished, they don’t catch a lot of cod, but they keep on fishing in the same waters. That’s what’s happened to all these value investors. Maybe they should move to where the fish are.” Charlie Munger, vice chairman, Berkshire Hathaway0
