Removal company recommendations Taunton to dundee

Hello.  Please would anyone be able to recommend a removal company from Somerset (Taunton) to Dundee area?  Would it be best contacting local companies as opposed to dundee based?  Many thanks!

I'd start by asking Spotted Taunton on Facebook. You'll get companies offering to quote. If none of them seem any good, ask a local Dundee group.

I'd be more inclined to approach a Scotland-based removal company. Having relocated from Berkshire to Cumbria we found using a Cumbrian-based removal company worked really well (we did try some companies in our previous area but most of them wouldn't take on a removal so far north). Friends of ours who relocated to the Scottish Highlands did similar (used a local Scottish firm).

Dundee companies may also be a touch cheaper, though it's harder if they can't view what needs moving before the move. How much do you have and how full a service are you wanting? I can recommend a Dundee-based man with (large) van, but I'd guess you've more to move

Would the Scottish company be able to send a packer a day early? I'd recommend using a mover that offers a packing service.

We have used Pickfprds for three long distance moves and found them very good, both in cost and service.
