The therapy must be working, as I didn't even realise there was an alternative Twiglet flavour available. However, is it not possible that the firm discontinued them simply because people just didn't buy enough of them?
Personally, I am also an "original" fan, and my local Heron freezer centre regularly sells originals at 3 bags for £1, whereas Asda sells the same size (with the same sell by date) for 85p each.
:money: may not be an expert on Twiglets...but he's teaching me where to save money :rotfl:0 -
If you're going to do a campaign then PLEASE do a campaign to bring back Galaxy counters (remember the ones with the toucan on the packet). The only way you can get them now is buy buying revels & picking them out (for those who don't know, they're the ones like minstrels but without the candy shell).
And funnily enough....http://www.gopetition.co.uk/petitions/bring-back-galaxy-counters.html0 -

Signed that, they were my favourite sweets when I was a kid but whenever I start describing them and the packet no one except my DH knows what I am on about, I thought maybe he's just humouring me.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

£32? I'm not that bad an addict! However, I did have two slices of toast and Marmite for breakfast this morning. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
I bought some twiglets for christmas eating and I won't bother again. They are nothing like the twiglets I had as a child. They were thin like twigs and had a very strong marmite tast and you could suck them for ages.
The ones this year are the wrong texture and hardly taste of marmite at all.
I made the OH eat one to taste test and he thought exactly the same.
Bring back original twiglets.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
