I have a hive. I really like the app but I don’t find the control box that easy to use other than to press the boost button. That said, I’ve probably not tried to get to grips as the app is so easy.

Hive is easier to install and better value for money, IMO.

However - and I didnt realise this until I had installed it - as the thermostat runs on a battery, the display only comes on when you press a button, and quickly switches off again. As someone who likes to look at my thermostat temperature more often than is necessary, I hated this and went for Nest instead. For everyone else, I'd recommend Hive, if you're not interested in any smart features.
