New Build Flat- Lease issue

Hello All,
A few weeks ago I was ready to exchange contracts on a new build flat (shared ownership) the vendors solicitors were being slow on providing the engrossed lease, then we were informed that the parking plan was wrong, they are saying what was built and the parking plan they have are different so needed to get a new parking plan from the developers. They have now got an updated parking plan from the developers, they got this around a couple of weeks ago.

They are saying that changes are still needed to the lease due to this and are unable to provide a timescale on how long this could take, this has come from the developers, housing association and estate agent, apparently they are trying to resolve it as quickly as possible and is a high priority, doesn’t seem very quick too me!
Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this and how long it might take? Or is this a how long is a piece of string question?
Thank you
