iweb account problems

I logged in to iweb today, first time for a few weeks. Went to the deal screen to place some trades. It then says that my account is restricted and I am not able to place any trades online. It says I should call them. Tried to call and after one hour on hold couldn't stay on phone any longer.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar. If so, what or why are they restricting our accounts and not letting us place any trades?

Yep, can't log in to it today for me. It is unusual as I log on most days without problems.
There's a "Service Unavailable" message when you try to log in now.0 -
Yes I also get the service unavailable error.
They have a problem they need to fix.

I was able to log on earlier but encountered a message saying my account was restricted and could not trade online. I can see now that it's not possible to log on at all, but that would appear to be a different issue. I am more concerned at the account restriction issue and whether that is just affecting me or everybody else too.MaxiRobriguez said:Yes I also get the service unavailable error.

I would take a punt and suggest your initial issue you saw is why they've taken the site offline.ivormonee said:lozzy1965 said:Yep, can't log in to it today for me. It is unusual as I log on most days without problems.

Give it a couple of hours see if addressed.0 -
I'm in now and the dealing screen is available. Not used it but assume it all works now.0

I couldn't log in this morning, but I logged in OK about 45 mins ago. All seems to be back to normal!0

If it's still the same once everyone else has got back in (my account worked fine when I tried it now) then it might be if they need to validate some info for you. I've had the restricted message before and needed to update bank details I think. There should be a message somewhere on the page, probably under Account management, that gives the details if it is a genuine message not an error.ivormonee said:lozzy1965 said:Yep, can't log in to it today for me. Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1 -

We are aware that customers are experiencing intermittent issues when accessing Share Dealing. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
Yes, I had seen that but it isn't clear (to me, at least) whether that relates to (a) the account restriction or, (b), the logging in issue.
