Hi
I'm currently in the process of trying to fill out the D11 form as I have received a decree absolute but was never informed by my ex that this process was taking place and there is still a matter of finance's to be agreed IE family home etc what's the best way to address the form ensuring it gets noticed. Also how is it possible for this to happen when we have children together and she is well aware of all my contact information? Thanks

You would need to ask the court to send you copies of the petition to see what details she gave for you and, perhaps also ask for a copy of any acknowledgement form or application for deemed / substituted service, to see what evidence the court was given that you had been served.
Normally, divorce papers are sent out by post and then if you don't respond, the petitioner can apply for the divorce to proceed with other evidence that you've had the papers - did you ever receive anything and not respond to it?
IF your concerns is to resolve finances then the decree absolute having been granted doesn't mean you can't apply for a financial order, it just means that were she to die, you would not automatically inherit as her spouse, or be entitled to any surviving spouse's benefits under her pension.
arrangements for children are separate to any divorce so again would not be affected.
You may do better to focus on sorting out the financial situation rather than trying to get the decree absolute rescindedAll posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)1
