I would advise anyone to stay well clear of this organisation. They recently instigated a switch of my electricity account to another provider without any notification that this was happening, the result of which would have been an extra unecessary £350 payment for one year's energy supply. As a result of this I have asked them to close my account and to remove all my details from their data base. This they have failed to do and also do not respond to any E mails. Do not become involved with them if you value your personal information such as bank account details.

You obviously didn't understand what you signed up for as it's an "auto switching" service . If they find a better deal you are automatically switched .
It requires you to enter accurate information about your existing tariff on sign up , enables them to identify any leaving penalties . They won't switch you if there's a penaltyEx forum ambassador

Signing up with one of the "We will ensure you are always on the best tariff " companies such as Look After my Bills, is never a wise move. They earn their living by Switching their clients to whatever supplier pays them the biggest bounty for introducing a new customerA recent TV Ad. for Look after My Bills boasted that they have 400,000 customers, how much they get paid by the suppliers is a closely guarded secret, but £30 is often the amount offered directly by suppliers to new customers. So 400,000 x £30 works out to £12million in the first year, with another £12million the next year when they move them on to another supplier0

@stevesalp As others have said once you have signed up the switch is outside your control and may well be the best that LAMB can do - you can probably do better with a little bit of effort.
Are they guessing at your consumption - you do give them monthly meter reads don't you ?
Give us some actual consumption details for the last year please. - note costs are going up.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
