License Assistance Online - SCAM!!! Beware!!
We gave our 16 year old son our bank card to apply and pay for his Provisional License from the DVLA website. Mistakenly he clicked on www . vehicleonlineservices . co . uk/ their website is designed to look like the DVLA one! in very very small writing it says We are in no way affiliated with the government of the United Kingdom or the DVLA . We are a third party processing agency that charges a service fee for additional benefits. But it is very small and so easy to miss as my son did. They apply for your license on behalf and charge a fee of £80 to so say 'check it'. The normal cost of a license is only £34 from DVLA so yes they charge £114!!!!! I only noticed a couple of hours later when I checked pending payments from my banking app. So we emailed straight away that night saying we did not want the service explained what he had done asking for a refund. We got a long winded email the next morning explaining the benefits of using them, of which basically there are none! Then a few emails later they said it was too late had been processed and they would send £16 back. So they charged us £64 for basically nothing. So gutted just be so careful and make sure its the official government website you are clicking on. A first life lesson for my son as well to check site and the amount!!! Still not seen the £16 in my account don't hold too much hope so will probably end up £80 out of pocket.

Why post in 2 sections? Which is against the forum rules

The website says:
For all cancellation and refund requests please visit our refund page. We have a 14 day cooling off period even after successful submission with the DVLA, refunds can take up to 5 days to appear in your account. Any refund requests received after the 14 day period are refunded at company discretion and may not include the fee from the DVLA.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
