Looking at he following house at the weekend, long story short we were due to exchange contracts on another property, however the people we were buying from have pulled out , so looking at the following house. It looks like there is no central heating , although the listing states gas heating???
4 bedroom end of terrace house for sale in Verwood, BH31 (rightmove.co.uk)
Any ideas how much it would cost to fit it -i guess new boiler and radiators?
Many thanks

It will need rewiring as well - from the photos you can see there's just one single socket per room, electrics probably date to the 1960s.0

it was built in 19790

Looks like it just has a gas fire, so no boiler or rads. The good thing is there is a gas supply to the property.I would think it would probably cost between £5-7k depending on the type of boiler and how many radiators you’d want.0

A lot of potential but also a lot of investment on the basics.
You know the value of the area but i would doubt such investment would bring reward unless you plan to stay there some time.
It's also a lot of upheaval just after a move and plumbers etc with a long waiting list. Depends on your situation and how much you like the area.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

A boiler is about £1000 and depending on number of rads approx 7 or 8 which on average are £80/100 each.then all the fittings pipework & a couple of local gas fitters/plumbers (not british gas etc) who will cost you £40 /hr each & about 3 days. But you can do a lot to cut the cost by having everything worked out beforehand like having the carpets up floorboards ready to be lifted etc. So you are looking at £5000 hope this helps
