Can any of you kind folks recommend some good websites for finding a house share in my area, in this case Rugby. I've just split with my girlfriend and have about 2 weeks to find a place or I will literally be homeless 
The only decent one i've found so far is easyroommate but they want £20 just to contact people, worried it may be a bit of a con site.

Is there a Gumtree in your area? There's a list of places down the right hand side of the link... (Forgive my Geography but I'm not 100% sure of Rugby's location!)

Have you tried looking on spareroom.co.uk
I will be moving to a peak district in the next few weeks for my new job and have found this site very useful in looking for places to share with other people. A quick scan of Rugby threw up quite a few responses.
There is also easyroommate but i found this site a little hard to navigate.
