    Yes by email.

Also, as there are two separate claims, how or where do I request that they are merged into one?

the car was parked for a total of 10 days, in the same spot, whilst we were out of the country.

Be aware that, even with the permission of the resident, this may well  be in breach of the lease/AST
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Why is that?
The permits were arranged through the management company by the resident themselves, who explained it was for a visitor before applying for them.

    Fair enough.

In terms of asking the court to consolidate both claims into one, can I just write this as a separate point in the defence itself:

The Claimant has submitted two claims (Claim Numbers: xx and xx). The Defendant requests that the court consider consolidating both claims into one.

More than that.  Search the forum for Henderson v Henderson as there is case law to quote.

    Thank you.
Had already submitted it with a sentence similar to what I had previously posted by the time I saw your post. But will keep it in mind. Is this something I can still flesh out at a later stage?

Yep, mention the other claim number and what's happened, in your email when you send your DQ forums for both cases, and ask that the allocated court consolidates the two claims once it reaches a Judge in their boxwork.  You could possibly squeeze a sentence about the 2 claims into the actual DQ as well.

Then again at WS & evidence stage.  Keep telling the court until a Judge notices it.

Can I submit the DQ form via email?
Or is it something that has to be physically posted to the court?
Tried to look on the newbie thread but the main post doesn’t answer this.
