Hi all

please bear with me on this

I sent three parcels each the same size and similar weights using DHL via Parcels2Go.  Two of the parcels were just under 15 KG and one was 17.8KG.  The invoice date was the 7th March 2021.  They were successfully delivered unpacked and put to use the following day.  At no point during this process was any dispute raised about the weight or size of the parcels.   I didn't take photos of the parcels on scales before I posted them.

You raised a dispute with me over 6 weeks after the parcel was delivered asking me to prove the weight and size.  They are now claiming that the parcels were 145kg!  No evidence - no way to get any.

I have confirmed with DHL that they have not raised a dispute and the weight on their system were within tolerances of what I booked.

I have also spoken to Trading Standards I have been told they are in breach of contact

no phone number and they just keep emailing me demanding evidence I have told them doesn't exist.

Ask Parcels2Go for their evidence that the parcels were ~10x the weight you recorded, and that without it, you won't be paying them anything.  If they chase you through small claims, come back here for advice.

Did you declare the size correctly as well as the weight?
They'll have worked out the 'volumetric weight' for the overcharge - Google it and read up about it all works.

I've had this with them before, and in the end I just packed an identical parcel and sent pictures which was good enough for them.
