Wonder how accurate that is. My local Shell garage is listed but most the time they only ever have one person on site serving behind the counter. Whos going to come out and assist you?Deleted_User said:AdrianC said:You're very lucky to have found a filling station that will help you refuel a car.
I normally use https://fuelservice.org/en/ - which means that I have to plan any journeys0 -
Not to mention the power losses.Deleted_User said:

Back in 2017, inductive road charging was being touted as "Maybe 10 years".

If you read the article, they installed it on a 1.6km length of public road (and 700m of public road in Israel). The 200m truck test is the first phase. They're seeking permission to do multi-vehicle tests with the full length.Deleted_User said:

The next test stretch is going to be between Milan and Brescia, in Northern Italy, on the A35 Autostrada.

https://markets.ft.com/data/announce/full?dockey=600-202105180800BIZWIRE_USPRX____BW5228-1It also says that it achieved a transfer rate of 70kW but is that 70kW to the vehicle or consumed by the track ?Its going to need, probably thousands of times this amount to cope with all of the traffic - and that's just a short length of track0 -
Why are you even interested, you're "sticking with IC to the end"?Deleted_User said:AdrianC said:

PS the word "transfer" clearly infers it's the rate to the vehicle.
