External post box recommendation

Due to the design of the front door I've gone for, it doesn't have the space to have a letterbox on it. I knew this when I ordered the door but I wasn't too concerned having an external post box.
Any recommendations or suggestions on features or things to look for in an external post box. I can see some fairly basic and cheap ones at B&Q but I'm happen to spend more on a something a bit more secure and something that would take parcels. Any suggestions from people who have had one installed?

Sadly not, no garage. We have a porch but there's no enough front facing brick on the left or right of the door to get a letterbox put into the porch. Putting the letterbox on the side brick wall of the porch is almost certainly going to be missed by everyone. So it's got to be a small wall mounted postbox on the front side of the porch, a larger wall mounted box on the side of the porch or a ground mounted postbox.EssexExile said:We have the letterbox in the garage door, is that a possibility?0 -
I've seen some external letterboxes that allow small parcels to be securely deposited (something like this: https://www.letterbox4you.co.uk/product/delta-external-wall-mounted-parcel-drop-box/?attribute_pa_colour=dark-grey). However, this is just for parcels but I'm sure there are some that allow letters and parcels.
Any suggestions?1 -
Hello
Perhaps something like this would be the right kind of solution for you ?
There is a parcelbox/letterbox called Beta , takes small parcels and has separate letter compartment

A house near me has a sign on the wall next to the door saying Letterbox and with an arrow pointing in its direction round the corner (in their case in the garage door).

That just ruins the fun. I like to watch the delivery person as they arrive at the front door and look around for the letterbox. Eventually they give up and as they walk back up the drive they have one last look behind them and notice the letterbox in the garage door, which was right in front of them as they walked down the drive.Slinky said:tallac said:

If you do some DIY to keep in budget cost, also there were many wood workers to help you and you can customized as your door design.

I thought @SIrDominic79 was a robot spam but the Beta parcel box seems like a good shout. This is what I managed to find and it seems to be ideal:
https://www.letterbox4you.co.uk/product/beta-parcel-box-with-integrated-letterbox-for-flats-and-offices/
The only thing is, while the parcel drop off seems to have an anti-fish design, it doesn't look like the letter box part does.0 -
Having had another look at this, I really prefer the post boxes that have a visible window such as this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B7I62GA
Without the window, I feel I'd be checking multiple times a day to see if I had mail which would be very annoying. Sadly, doesn't appear to be one which also has a parcel drop off so I'll probably just go for the one above.0
