Turning off auto relisting from app?

Hi all,
I've just been listing a few items on ebay for the first time in a couple of years and I can't find a way to turn off auto-relisting from the app - either when listing or through revise my item. It just tells me it will be relisted with no option to change it. The option is there when I log on from my laptop but it's a pain to have to switch over and change it each time. The best thing would be an account level setting to turn it off but I can't find anything there either. I've tried googling but am struggling to find anything specific to the app and the forum search here keeps bringing back posts from 10 years ago!
Is this another ebay "feature" that I just have to live with or am I missing something?
Thanks

Obviously for BIN listings you can’t switch it off, but for auctions there should be a tick box when you list if you use the advanced listing too, rather than quick sell tool.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks soolin. How would I find the advanced listing tool in the app? I normally find an existing listing and then use “sell one like this” and can’t see any option to change to advanced.0

That I can’t help with I'm afraid as virtually all of my listing is done on a PC , I’ve never found the ap suitable for the things I list as it is a bit limited.SoozyJ22 said:Thanks soolin. I'm pretty sure you can't turn it off in the app.
But you could save listings as drafts and then make final changes on PC.

They don't make it easy, do they! I always used to list on my laptop but it's a pain having to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop each time.jon81uk said:I'm pretty sure you can't turn it off in the app.

List on the laptop put into scheduled listings then transfer photos from the phone, quite easy.
Shows one of the many problems caused by using an app that is not fit for purpose.2 -
I think eBay see the apps purpose as making simple easy listings.Rantband said:List on the laptop put into scheduled listings then transfer photos from the phone, quite easy.

For me it fill the purpose just fine, but auto-relist doesn't bother me.
But as you say can either start on the laptop and finish the draft on the app or vice versa.1 -
Just use onedrive for your camera uploads and the pics will be on your laptop within a few minutes as long as you phone is on your wifi. The app is very limited and I would never list on it.They don't make it easy, do they!
