Puting offers in on multiple properties at the same time

You can make as many simultaneous offers as you like. Nothing stopping you eg buying & completing on 5 properties the same day. (Probably get a discount on price from solicitor).
Just beware damage to your reputation and maybe bank balance if things go too far1 -
Just to say, the one out the 3 we offered on Saturday, the vendor has accepted my offer and has agreed to take it off the market and stop viewings.
It seemed out best option, the house was under our budget, didn't have everything we needed already in, but was configured in such a way it has the potential to be upgraded and extended the way we would like.
So rather than paying right to our budget for a ready baked, perfect property, we decided to go for the lower cost option and save the money up to do the things to the house we'd like over the next few years.
Doing it this way means we will have lower mortgage and won't be effectively paying interest out on the upgrades we'd like.
The house we saw that looked ideal with everything already in place was £30k more.
Looking at what wed like to do, can't see it costing 30k.
Anyway, I only bid on the one house in the end, and I got it.....well, this will be the second time I've thought that, hopefully it all goes through this time.
Thanks everyone.5 -
Thanks for coming back with an update. Good luck - it can be a roller coaster until you get those keys!!!
I am sleeping on a mattress on the floor of my new house tonight! It’s a great to be finally here. Stressful till the end!0 -
Put the offer on the one you really want to buy... points exercise by putting multiple offers on others.
If you really like a house then be prepared to put the max of your budget if needs be or lower your search bracket if houses in your area are sought after and are going well above the asking price
If you are looking at the max of your budget then you are going to be limited to be competitive with others0
