I have recently purchased an acer laptop. On the task bar the Bookings.com automatically appears .I do not want it and I cannot get rid of it. Can someone please give me simple instructions how to complete this task. Why does it appear in the first place it seems like forced advertising. Thank you

Is that a new computer or second-hand/refurbished? See if there's a program called Bookings installed....
- In search type Control Panel and click the Control Panel app.
- Click Uninstall a Program
- When you find the program Booking, click it, and Click Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Booking

This is a brand new Acer Aspire Laptop. Bookings.com does not show in the Control Panel so I cannot uninstall. It does appear in the Task Bar on the bottom of the screen. It was there as soon as I set up the laptop so much have been there at the outset.0

Gueessing it's like the News an Interests widget? Right-mouse click on the Bookings.com icon and take a screenshot for us.
