Hello,
Does anyone know anything about being in credit with prepayment meters?
We put £120 a month in. I've had a look on our account & we have over £340 credit on the account.
I've asked Eon if this is anything we can claim back & they've said no.
Anyone have any idea why?
Many thansk.

Unfortunately this board is about LPG, Heating Oil, Solid & Other Fuels and is a bit of a backwater.

Many thansk. The credit that you're seeing on your online account is due to the payments you've made since your last statement
Each time you make a payment at a PayPoint or Payzone on your key or card, this increases the credit balance on your account.
Once you're billed for the energy that you've used, the balance on your account should reflect what's on your meter at the time we send your statement, which you’ll receive once or twice annually.
The credit you can see, is for unbilled charges and that's the reason we won't offer a refund.
I hope that helps a little
