As a business owner being messed around like this is massively frustrating - it’s likely the supplier will hold the shop to the order even if only placed recently.Work with them to find a solution, but if you signed in person they hold the cards in this situation2

Yes thanks. I have some empathy for the business owner. My daughter does too. It is rather odd that she was invited to sign without the deposit being produced. I guess it was to clinch the deal. For reasons unknown to me, it appears she had to sign on her iPad. This was an added pressure as she lived in a different city.There were some good reason for her subsequent hesitation . But the long and short of it is that she should not have succumbed to the pressure -it’s not as if she had negotiated a price reduction- and she could have walked out. I just don’t want her to be disappointed that she’d made an expensive mistake, especially as it was for her big day.
We’ll see what transpires. Thank you for your advice.0
