TUI Direct Debit

Hi, first post!
I have tried to book a holiday with TUI the current offer of no deposit Direct Debit.
It will not work says my date of birth provided by my bank does not match!
My bank would not send this information and it is not needed to set up a DD spoke to TUI who will not set up over the phone and you cannot do in store! Convenient? I think this is a scam as they will book if I pay a deposit but I don’t want too, I want the offer stated on the website. Anyone else had this? I wouldn’t normally be bothered but the responses from TUI are just nonsense so it’s got my back up!

Just remember if you pay by direct debit, you lose any rights to chargeback if things go pearshaped, For the last 15 months, many have relied on making claims against credit or debit cards, holiday companies have identified a way of ensuring you can't and at the same time save the cost to them of processing cards.

Have you called the bank to determine what DoB they have on record ?

I really don't think this is a scam.

It is much more likely that there is some mismatch in the information that your bank and TUI have for you.
