Received another executor’s documents

I received a duplicate letter from Birmingham Midshires today confirming the closure of my late father’s account. Not only was it a duplicate but the envelope was quite stuffed with paperwork. On closer inspection the top letter was for me but the remainder related to someone else’s case - including all the deceased’s account details and full name and address of the Executor. Just out of interest would you send this back to BMid or post on to the person the letter was addressed to? I would phone and ask but having spent hours on hold getting through to them in my own dealings I am reluctant to do that this time.

I would put the lot into a fresh envelope  (accompanied by a covering letter asking for reimbursement of postage costs) and send it "signed for" to BM.
