    My OH showed me the photo yesterday. Couldn't help but laugh. Looks like it's too late for coffee and cake to salvage that relationship!

    Exactly my thought when I saw it... If only they'd posted on here before it escalated. We'd have sorted them out.

    Good karma, tho' - the 'nice' neighb seems very pleasant and reasonable and seemingly tried to compromise, trimming the tree and stuff. The petulant, birdsong-intolerant neighb won't speak to the press. You just know that they are hating the fact they've been exposed as petty. It's the very last thing that 'self-entitled' folk can cope with; exposure & humiliation.
