Clearscore Interpretation

Hi everyone,
I haven't been resident in the UK for about 4 years now. However, I am due to come back to the UK next year.
I tried checking my credit report but experian and MSE Club says Verification Pending, Clearscore shows me my details but I am confused as to what this picture means

The loan account was with Barclays but passed on to Hoist. The last time it was updated was in 2020. Does this mean that was the initial default date?
I left the UK May 2017 and I haven't made any payments so far.
Can i go ahead and make all the payment? or will this reset the clock? I have no CCJs atm
Thank You

Last updated isn't the default date, no.
Paying it will reset the statute barred date, it won't reset the default date.0 -

The last time I paid was when i left the UK - August 2016 and I have had no correspondence with them due to not been around. What are my options? Contact them for a payment plan? If I start paying a monthly fee, I guess it will reset the clock? What if i pay in full, will any marker be placed and will i have to wait 6 years again for it to drop off?I checked the registry trust and have no ccj, so I am lost as to what to expect.Ideally i would have love to have this debt fall off while I pay off whatever amount asked instead of restarting the 6 years all over again. Can they threaten me with a ccj before the 6 years is up and can i offer a payment plan at that point?I really need help..0 -

As far as paying it goes, paying it will not cause the debt to remain on your files for longer. Once it's defaulted it's gone 6 years from that date regardless of what you do. However, if you don't pay it they may well go for a CCJ, and with you not in the country to defend it (and presumably they don't have your current address to send papers to so will end up going to your old address) then you could be stuck with that for another 6 years.
If you can afford to pay it off or at least start paying towards it, that would probably be a good idea.1 -

If i start my payments now - hypothetically either I complete the payment now or after I arrive in the UK in January, will a default on my creditscore prevent me from getting an accommodation?Thank you so much once again.
