Can't use current account for sole trader business

However, I have just opened a sole trader business account with Starling, after quick and excellent email exchanges, and a phone chat!0 -

got the same thing. Income paid to me from my limited company business account and they want proof of what the payments cover. Seems more intrusive then proving it’s not being used for business purposes…

You've resuscitated an old thread from five years ago, but just to check, are you also talking about Nationwide, and if so, do you have both your company and personal accounts with them?

ah, didn’t realise this was 4 years old. No our business accounts are with other banks.
