Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
There is a stand alone Lidl within walking distance of Fruitcake Folly, so I will try and have a look when I get the chance.
With regards to Direct Solutions for Parking, this is the company that got booted out at Sandhills car park in Devon, ANPR was removed, and parking is now being managed by the landowner. As far as I am aware, this is the only car park that DSFP ever had.
I've passed the good news on to Rachael.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

All pretty much small fry operators and suspended on technicalities rather than for any breaches. I think the DVLA shy away from breach cases in general, and definitely away from the 'big boys' of this sordid business. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

My local Lidl is Parking Eye , because I checked a couple of months ago when I went to get jab number 2 and parked on the road near it , fairly new signs there too2

This will make you laugh. The owner of DSFP is trying to sell his ANPR scamera kit on eBay.

Well I asked for any suspensions for any reason, and also asked for all communications from the past 12 months about decisions to suspend any AOS members after a complaint.
The answer was, none were suspended after a complaint.
Nothing to see here, then...no PPCs have been suspended by the DVLA in the past year for anything except leaving an AOS (probably to pause their company outgoings and processes during COVID) so clearly they are all playing nicely. This forum (and pepipoo and others) and Trustpilot reviews and newspaper articles galore tell us a very different story.
The situation for the public and communities is worse now than it ever was when clamping was a thing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It looks like he is selling off all his old kit as a coin counter has now been offered for sale.
Someone asked on the auction site if it can be used to count scam money, and someone offer £1 for the camera kit.
Small fry maybe, but it looks like he has given up completely. The impact on the car park reverting to landowner management is huge for the local community.

I think it was on here, or on another parking site ( pepipoo) where someone stated that a majority of people will panic and pay, or at least "appeal" upon the receipt of a private parking ticket attached to their vehicle in a convincing council./police style yellow envelope. If when "appealing" the name/address etc of the driver are disclosed, then it makes any need to access the DVLA database, and with it the need to pay membership fees and abide by a pesky code of conduct irrelevant. There is a huge lack of knowledge with so called private parking charges that enough people mistakenly think these things are "fines" - all you have to do is see the amount of posts on here asking for help with a "parking fine" or things such as "fined a petrol station " when they have had nothing of the sort.Add in to that that when these things get reported as"fines" in the press/local media, and social media by professional news organisations that should know better, it all helps to re-enforce the image in peoples minds that these are "fines" and if they don't pay/appeal then they will go up and the bailiffs will come knocking on their door.Again the myth is further perpetuated by the likes of DCBL using terms such as "dont pay then we'll take it away" if you dont know what this is about you may take this phrase as is, and expect bailiffs to appear, or if you do, will you be in the next series of Chanel 5's poverty !!!!!! fest? With all that in mind, if your private parking business model is almost all window tickets, and most will pay up/hand over the info why bother with trade associations?Set the price of the so called fine before "appeal" and after X amount of time right and depending upon location some people will just pay up, thinking it to be a legitimate fine.Operating outside of a trade association and/or outside of the need to access DVLA data you could call it what you want - penalty, fine whatever. Conveniently this will also allow business as usual when/if this government imposed code of practice comes inFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Shhhh! That's a line the ATAs are promulgating, that the statutory cap on private parking charges as a result of the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 will result in more parking firms going 'rogue' and operating outside of the new arrangements. Conveniently this will also allow business as usual when/if this government imposed code of practice comes inThe MHCLG providing adjunct legislation to outlaw such operations could close that option. But I'm not aware that it has been mooted. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
