Presumably the reduction from 20Gb to 12Gb on '3' will give people the right to reject the change, and leave, so anyone who took out an expensive contract with a phone could cancel and keep the phone..
You need more than 12GB in a 30 day period? With Wifi in most places I don't personally. I'd be happy if EE took this approach.

But it would depend if you were in a contract. You can't just have a phone without having paid for it.

Yes, Currently abroad, and almost without notice my data allowance has dropped from 20gb to 12gb... WIFI is no use on a ship off the coast i can assure you...
Surely they need to give a months notice? My billing period is part way through a month, so i assume it will come in when my new month starts in July?

Still says its 20Gb here for EU:

Over a month later and 3 still haven't bothered to update their website, anyone would think they are trying to mislead customers🤔

I am with a provider, Plusnet, that uses the EE network. Currently I have Roam like home. Will roaming charges be introduced

Plusnet themselves would have to announce reintroduction of roaming charges, which they probably will sooner or later.
    Evolution, not revolution
