Incident at Holiday Park

Can anyone advise who I would contact to report an incident that happened at a large holiday park if the holiday park itself is ignoring my complaint. Without going into to much detail whilst on holiday a part of a fairground ride broke off hitting my partner. I don't believe they followed the correct protocol or that the ride had been checked as they claim. Is it Citizens advise or is there a health department somewhere that this can be reported to so it get looked at properly.

Local council would be a good first step probably.
But you could also report to the HSE https://www.hse.gov.uk/contact/concerns.htm

Was there an injury, that resulted in a hospital visit, or was it just a small part that fell? Depending on what happened its likely that recording it as an accident and providing first aid is enough.

I've emailed the local council but no response as yet. I will try HSE thank you.

There was an injury yes. Not needing instant medical attention but has been checked and reported to our GP when we got home. I'm more concerned that it could have been so so much worse and they didn't seem to care.
I had to insist on an accident report being completed which they then would not let us complete ourselves. They did it themselves and would not give me a copy to see.

Make sure you include that in your HSE report. (Without having had sight of the accident report you've no idea whether they've reported it correctly ... based on your other comments about their attitude I'd have my doubts).
