Has anyone had this offer from Amazon Business Credit Card? If you take one out then you'll get the first year fee waived (£50) and £100 Amazon Gift Card. Seems like a free £100 Amazon voucher to me, but just thought I'd check on here if anyone has taken one out and I've missed some small print?

From what I can tell, as there is no mention of an interest-free period, interest will be payable regardless of whether you pay it off in full or not.
If you're not actually using it for business, I'd avoid using it for that reason.1 -

2.4 Applying interest When is interest payable? We charge interest from the date an amount (e.g. a purchase or fee) is charged to your outstanding Account balance until it is paid in full but there are two exceptions to this. We don’t charge interest on: purchases if you always pay the full amount you owe on each statement date (as shown on your statement) by each payment due date; or late payment fees or returned payment fees.
Examples When you won't pay interest on purchases If you paid the full amount you owe in June and in July we won't charge interest on any purchase charged to your Account in July and shown in your July statement.

I applied for this card - my application was referred (rather than an instant approval), but it came through about 4 days later. The £100 Amazon gift card was applied to my Amazon account immediately after (you need to apply through your Amazon account). Very simple process - couldn't see a downside. My business is very small, but the application process takes into account other household income. 1.5% back on Amazon spending and 0.5% back on other spending (refunded as vouchers, I think).1

I should add, I do hold 3 personal Amex cards too.1

The Consumer Credit Act 2006 changed the definition of "individual" to include sole trader and small partnerships and so some will be a regulated product but if its a limited company or other incorporated entity then no matter its size it is outside the CCA.1 -
Sorry, bumping an old thread ...Is there any downside to applying / receiving the card, getting the £100 and then cancelling the card? The T&Cs say I can cancel at any time.0
