This is mainly an information sharing post rather than seeking advice.
I am currently work as a supply teacher without a permanent contract. Last Thursday, I was contacted by my teaching agency to advise me to self-isolate for 10 days as the bubble I had been teaching in had to close due to a confirmed case of COVID-19. I have been double-vaccinated and have taken lateral flow tests, however, the rules are currently that I cannot leave the house so I'm unable to work or get paid. I was booked by another school to work 3 days this week as I will be taking up a maternity cover post there in September, plus one day at the school where the class bubble has closed. I have also lost pay from last Friday. In total, I have lost potential earnings of £819 before deductions. I cannot claim from the COVID fund as I have not been pinged by track n trace. You need a reference number to be able to apply for compensation up to £500.
I am not moaning; I'm just concerned that I won't be able to pay my mortgage if this keep happening.

That's awful. Hopefully some common sense gets applied at some point soon.

I thought the Covid fund had been emptied a long time ago.0

I think your agency has to pay you at least SSP sick pay for the 4 days work that was booked - would be worth contacting Citizens Advice https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/work/rights-at-work/sick-pay/check-if-youre-entitled-to-sick-pay/0

How are you engaged by the supply teacher agency? What legal structures do you have? Employee / sole trader / Ltd Co.?
Depending on detail, this may give you opportunities for furlough / SEISS.0 -
